Feb 9th- Chicago
After the sheer relief of being able to say good bye to the rental car and the barren winterscape of Wisconsin, I was delighted to see thousands of green plants. Not a moment too soon, After a week of hard traveling, the tangerines are only going to be fresh for another day or so.
Reverse Tourism is a photoblog of documentation for the Art Gifting Project Reverse Tourism. This project began with the intent of leaving a piece of my adopted home Tampa, as I traveled through multiple states. Honeybell Tangerines were scattered across New York City, Boston, Chicago and Minneapolis. The choice of fruit is particularly significant because of the juxtaposition of the connotations of the tangerine, tropical origins and the bitterly cold winter and the intended targets during the project, those who work in transportation, hospitality and tourism.
